Why is it that when there's a huge natural environmental disaster, it's always the religious groups who are first to say "the world is coming to an end".
I'm not religious, but I believe there's a greater power somewhere. Possibly God or a God.
I believe that when there are disasters like the recent Tsunami, maybe it's to remind humans to love and care for one another. Because we certainly need reminding these days.
But then we're brought back to ignorance by Hot 97's "Tsunami Song".
If there is such a thing as Karma, then certainly everyone involved in creating that direspectful song will feel the full effects of it.

It's called Motivation. Religious groups are motivated and already are prepared for the situation. Take World Vision for example, the largest 'faith-based' non-profit agency in the world. Those guys are damn organized and HQ'd in Federal Way, Washington (state). Bottomline, they get sh*t done and work with people that know all the angles and local politics. Even during a disaster, you need to pay off the right people in every 3rd World (politically incorrect, these days)/Developing country. :)
