this is too funny.
yep. me as well. and yep after first blood came out. not so fancy as the first posted but yeah.
funny, most of the kids in my neighbourhood had one. most people of my age i talk to had one, and always due to the first blood movie.
and now i read it here as well. it's a cross cultural thing.
too funny. good thing though that it wasn't a bazooka in first blood.

yeah rabattski, it trully was a cross cultural thing... i grew up in chile and as all of you i wanted to be rambo, and although i lived in a seaside city with 300.000 people living in it i was sure i would die (literally) if i didn't have one.
obviously my parents didn't think the same way, so at 8 my only knife source was my grandma's kitchen.
i bet she is still wondering what happened to the big butcher's knife she used to have. and man, that thing could really cut things.

survival knife pah! i grew up watching 70s movies like the Dirty Harry films and Blaxploitation films - i wanted a flick knife!
