I loved how the judges tried to be so positive with their denial for 5.9% so that he wouldn't go back to the bottle. I think it was the only time Simon was actually nice to someone he thought couldn't sing.

I love pondering over the reasons why some of those people think they are great singers. Nothing beats a teenager who thinks they're good simply because they want to be famous. It's twisted, makes no sense at all, but to them, they deserve to be famous!

Anyone remember the first rounds of last year, this one girl who was terrible, and was crying when they told her the honest truth.
A guy friend of hers was acting like a rep for her as if she was some big star, telling the cameras following her out, "She's gonna be huge some day! They don't know what they're talking about. Leave her alone this is so wrong."

i told you about my kenny loggins story right?!?last time in vegas there was a large rodeo going on, vegas was full of cowboys. after leaving a club i sat down on a machine shitfaced and ended up wining a couple hundred bucks. i yelled out 'I LOVE YOU KENNY LOGGINS' to which all the cowboys around me angrily replied 'that's KENNY RODGERS YOU FUCK!' and an angry mob quickly built up around my machine.
turns out i was playing the kenny rodgers gambler machine, not the kenny loggins machine.
i left soon after the mistake.

i remember that girl from last year - she was like singing on the way out, which actually sounded way better than her audition.
the girl in the red shirt was funny when she was walking out, then turned around and cursed and tried to beg her way into the next round
