anyone who was paying a bit of attention should have probably figured it out .... plus if she ever found this thread she would probably know just by reading it. a long time ago i was dating a stripper from vegas. i got greedy and turned what i only wanted to be a one night thing into the whole trip i was there. then i kept talking to her once i got back home knowing i had no intentions of staying with her. a month later she flew herself out for the weekend. again, all i really wanted was sex. 3 months later when i went back with my buddies i told her and she spent the first two days in our hotel room. something had to be done when she said 'i love you' after only actually being in my presence less than 6 days.
so i told it to her straight. good god did she cry, and yes i was an ass, but if i beat around the bush or lied i knew it would just be harder on her. i didn't tell her she was just sex, but i told her the long distance thing wouldn't work and blah blah.
closer is the key here. you have to permanantly close the book so she can move on.
less than 4 months later i got a late night call saying she just had a vegas wedding and got hitched by elvis. wtf. what a wack job.
to close the book i had to drop the 'i'm having a baby with a woman back home and i have to do the right thing and marry her.' hey, it was better than the truth.
when she called she was like 'so how's the baby?' and i was like 'what baby'. so that may have been the absolute closure she needed knowing i was a lying twat.
haha. why did i tell that story?!? i have no idea. funny what vegas will do to a person.

and blackmail (or whoever), i was in a similar situation too, but it was more like 3 years, not 4.

well I'm not there yet but thanks...in a few hours I will be saying "hey babe I think we need to have a talk .....'
then a few hours after that if I am still alive ... I will moving my ass into our spare bedroom and be trying to decide if I should make the dogs sleep in the room with her so they can keep her company.
