Bullshit. Money is wasted in film production for bad videos and bad films but it still comes from private companies. The people involved in that production also cannot be the ones to blame.
What about real estate and financial 'workers', I mean brokers? That video is going after the wrong witches.

I thought it was good - apart from the song and the floppy type with the guitar. Isn't britain going to persuade the whole world to share out it's money at the next G8 conference? so everything's great then.

i don't get it i think. so the budget for that video was $150000 but instead they made it for $15 and gave away $149985 to charity etc?

meduza, I don't think the video is blaming the production people; i don't think it's "going after" anyone. I think it's just giving us something to think about (like d5ive said in his post). I think it's saying, "Imagine what all this money that could have been spent on a music video might be better used for."

150,000 spent on production puts money in the pockets of numerous Americans to eat, live, drink, buy iPods etc.. they're free to donate to charity and pay taxes with that money.
Makes you think yeah, but maybe they should get a better grip on Economics. Money on music videos isn't money wasted.

if he bought chiken for dinner he spend 9$ and assuming he moved to go to the studio, he spend 6$ of gas.... they totally screwed him!
