Hey guys,
I'm helping a friend out with her website and we seem to be having problems with it on
IE 5 MAC
Can you guys please look at it and help me figure out why things aren't loading and images are distorted? Much appreciated

Seems to work well enough for me. OSX 1.3.7, IE 5.2. The only funny business I saw was a few of the images were stretched or squished, but my guess is that it's just a result of the width changing before the image could be displayed. As soon as the image was swapped everything was fine. Is this the problem you're refering to?

Yeah thats it! How could I avoid that? I'm not that much of an expert in javascript. But I try!

I can't claim to be a javascript expert at all so it would take me far to long to figure out how to fix the issue to really be of any help, but it's not really a huge issue anyway, I think, depending on how long it takes the images to swap in. For me it was negligable.

I agree. Too bad clients/friends don't!

Worked well on my camino osx 10.3
noticed the same resizing issue but it was negligable on my connection too.

an easy solution would be to preload the next image on each "page".
as in: when you get there, 1 and 2 are loaded, when you click, 2 is displayed, 3 is loaded, and so and so forth.
less elegantly, you could swap to a blank image before loading/resizing.
ps seeing the broblem briefly here as well, in X10.3/FF1

you know what, no, screw that, just write your own code which you can understand, this is foolish, i take one look at those MM_assfuck functions and it makes me want to stab someone.
