Does anyone here pay taxes? I'm looking for info on how to get the 1099 form. I posted the question but no one seems to know more than me. Am I the only one working contract?

your 1099's come from the people you're contracting for (the people who are paying you)... if they're going to write you off as a service... they have to report your earnings to the irs via a 1099 which they're supposed to give you... so you know how much you earned from them... and thus can pay taxes on....
... unless they hooked you up under the table - there's lots of things you can do 'under the table'!
