I have been looking at http://drupal.org/
Before I commit to learning MySQL /PHP, would like something to help easily build database driven site. Not necessary to have "users", just editable areas. Sort of like... WordPress but for a smallish content site.
Not sure if Drupal is "it" or if Plone is kinda the same thing... but Drupal does seem easy to CSS and dev.

I think e107 kicks plone's ass.
Also, for a php non-MySQL site backend CMS (for very small sites) check out cutephp.com

idealist, thanks.
a company I recently began working with is using it for all of their clients... doing a little homework b/c I don't think they're making any switch anytime soon.
