yep..
gonna have to get me one of those minis..
looks like next month maybe, if all works out well...
i'm digging the look of the iwork and ilife stuff...
specially the iwork..does that come with the mini?
that word program, pages...looks pretty nice...
and it'd be nice to have something like that, instead of cranking up quark for little things ...
also, i do an ass load of powerpoint presentations for my clients..and if keynote is as nice as it looks, it'd be great to be able to work in that, and then just export it to powerpoint at the end...
anyone here have any experience with keynote?
any good?

oh and pirated copies of adobe and macromedia all over the place!

Well that's just it, think about it. Anything that evolves and wants to play with the big boys has to live by that same set of rules. It's inevitable imo.

"how were viruses spread in windows 3.0 without the internet?"
o_O
um, viruses have been spreading since the early 1970s. viruses were on the old Univac 1108.
infact, i don't ever remember owning a PC that wasn't protected by norton. and i've been using computers since the mid '80s.
world wide networks have been around for decades and decades.
a friend was hit by Yankee Doodle around '88, from pirated software which ran on DOS.
not to mention a number of other idiotic comments in this thread, which i can't be bothered correcting.
i mean. seriosly. wtf? Nt PVN continually proves itself to be populated by 99% ignorant teenages.

howcome unix runs fast on amd/intel and not motorola?
i wish adobe/other companies would develop their software for unix/linux x86
that would be fun
