It was a closed box for a grand.But this computer will only be about £290 UK so it not that bad at all.

The real test is if iWork can properly spell that meat called "proscuitto" (See, I can't even spell it right).
Word always fouls it up, and I use that word alot, mostly at work.

i like the fact i could sell my ibook on ebay and get enough to buy one of these.
I'm very tempted, hate the name mini though, sounds cheap.
I'd probably wait a while though for all the bugs to appear and get the 2nd gen mini

on the Dutch apple site it says it's an ideal and cheap extra for developers to test their software and code on this mac, but soon they'll be developing on the mac and test only now and then on their ol' PC.

I went to macworld today and the mini was pretty rad. shuffle is cool as well
maybe one could rig the fan on the mini with an on/off switch and you could warm your coffee on it.

Ever heard of the iMac.. geez. Very dumb comments.
This a brilliant move by apple. Most people have monitors.. and most people dont use the crap 1 button mouse. And a keyboard doesnt cost that much.
So many windows users will now switch to mac and try it out with the price point.... and they will be hooked there by ensuring bigger purchases down the road and they will tell their friends.. and their friends .... so on.
I am use both PC and Mac. Avid with both.. OSX won me over and I havnt been able to use my PC for a long time for most stuff
