While the Mini is fantastic looking, and the processor isnt all that terrible, there being only ONE RAM slot is. And the fact that only an Apple certified tech can open it, meaning that you gotta pay whatever Apple extorts from you for a 1GB Ram chip. Apple lost a sale.

if you already have a ram upgrade in your machine, I am pretty sure Apple really isnt marketing this to you. ya know? it's an entry level machine.

I think it´s good they didn´t name it iMac mini. Some people (incl. me) are getting tired of all the i´s. Still getting the iPod shuffle though..

It looks like to me this is a Great Mac for the right autiance. But its not for most people that are on this web site. It the middle america Mac. Those that will really only use the iLife stuff, Mail, Safari just the basics. The only thing i think the really missed was the video card... that will not play most good games anymore. It does impress me what they were able to fit into such a small box. And a 1.25 G4 is great for most people. I have a old Ti PBook 867mhz and it runs everything very well. And i am running Photoshop, InDesign, and a Couple of CAD and 3d programs and have had few problems. Is it as good as my G5 at work. No but does a great job for what i need it to do.

This is a great little unit for the money. All I can say is about time. :)
I can see it now for next Christmas. I will take an Ipod and one of them Ipod computer things. Yes Sir.
