I was to be up there today (we are shmoozing some clients), but some other whiny clients need a hug so i will be going up tomorrow. Just got a call from my partners who are up there, and i think they have been drinking already.
I answered the phone and they all were Blawwwwwhaaaaa itss siiiiick here - suckaaaaa. needless to say they will come back to cocolate pudding in their file cabnets.

oh man it was brilliant...so awesome...it's quite strange being back to be honest...it felt like I was living there again...did so much amazing eats and trips showing the inlaws around...best holiday ever I think. Just battling the jetlag now....to come back to this weather after 2 weeks on a beach was quite something but I can't wait to hit the back bowls again!!!

You guessed it jevad. I got into them in the 4th grade when no one listens to good music. Had all their posters on my walls and my Dad wondered if I was going to turn into a gothy longhair.
It sucks, though, that the cure are about the only band I can reference to people who I know don't listen to the same types of music as I do. There are heavy doses of The Verve, Mogwai, Placebo, Swervedriver, The Catherine Wheel, Sunny Day Real Estate, HUM, and others pumping through my mind all the time when I'm writing stuff.
Not bad ingredients, just with more people knew of those bands.
