that i completely threw in as a joke. i seriously, with all of my heart, hope our aide shows the people who all they have known for their entire lives is to hate the u.s., helps them see who we really are. i feel nothing but compasion for everyone who has been affected, even those who may or may not like me because of the country i am from.

Tsunama bin laden

it was the koreans testing a nuke. It hit the bottom of the ocean near indonesia causing an earthquake followed by the tsunami.

kuz, actually on the discovery channel last night they interviewed the guys from hawaii who first saw the earthquake, they initially thought it was only an 8.0 and knew the possibilities of a tsunami. they did and tried to warn india and thialand, and actually warned somalia and it's tiny island, something that starts with an m, of the danger. they did nothing.
anyways. when the quake hit the islands closest to the fault were pretty much shaken to pieces right off the bat. after the tremors stopped they started to survey the damage not knowing 15 minutes later the first of 3 50 foot waves would hit the shores.
the problem is/was, all countries with tsunami warning systems, or who could measure earthquakes have nothing in the indian ocean so knowone could determine what was really going on until it was too late.
so please, for the sake of sounding more rediculous, stop saying the u.s. caused it or didn't warn anyone so we could benefit from it. it's silly. next thing, we used 'star wars' lasers to cause the quake, and we sent out our giant cyclops raiders to spash the water around and make the waves, which we all know was caused by our 150 foot cyclops's farting in the ocean.

even if the indian ocean had a warning system the distances the the tsunami travelled were so short many of the countries could do little about it anyway.
