sid vicious was a freaking car wreck and did nothing good for music or any kind of punk, in my opinion he was a talentless loser that tagged along because he had fuck all else to do and had fuck all to give to people.

True he didn't have a shit to give.
I love the pistols but hated sid. I really think he was just a hanger on that replaced steve jones or glen matlock or whoever it was that played bass because he was there at the time. Like a kid you can't get wrid of.

i always figured sid's bass was unplugged and someone was actually playing for him backstage....

yeah I agree actually - mclaren threw him in over matlock, who was actually a great bassist, because he knew sid would attract an 'audience'
