Why does everybody come in their pants over this guy's work?
Some of his work is O.K, but it doesn't hold the attention of the viewer for long. I got bored very quick by it! Sorry.

Cos you have to respect the engine behind what you see.
And yeah what he is doing now you will see in a couple of years.
He is way ahead.

he is awesome, saw him at a conference a few years ago. It is more what he does with flash technically than his "design" He was origionally a landscape designer. If you know a little about flash you would really appreciate his work

I think his "design" is great too but its definitely pulled back not hit you over the head. His interface design is awesome. You have to think how would I make that in flash and you wouldn't be able to. (at least me) Everything is updatable and scalable.

I agree with some of the comments, but I respect the hell out of the Flash work he's done, for the most part because he was doing things with even Flash 4 that are now things MM builds into Flash - interacting with servers and viewers and dynamic content and much more - he was doing when it wasn't really even thought of.

ahead of his time. he puts out amazing concepts in nav and real time user interface experience.
i think his site updates are about the last thing on his agenda...which is understandable.
his work to me is like new ideas in furniture...you don't see much that really makes you think "wow! brilliant." but more like a lot of stuff that makes you think "wow! you want to charge me how much for that piece of crap!"
his stuff is brilliant.
