There's nothing wrong the currency.
There is something wrong about people paying for a sub-standard product though.
Personally I steal mp3's, or buy the CD. I'm certainly not paying for mp3's.

agreed, Play £7.99 to you door, with all artwork, case, higher quality etc..

The iTunes pricing in the UK is indeed thanks to the fact that you do not have Euro. Neither does Sweden, which puts us in the same boat. The countries with EUR all pay the same price per choon.
