I have three CD's and I need to convert its content into three image files.

pop your cd in...
Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility
click "New Image" while in the app.

can't you just use nero for that?
or what about dvd ripper?

3 CD-ROMs need to be inserted into a electronic computer system, whilst in the CD slot, I need a computer application to grab the contents off the CD's and convert it into image files, which later on should be burnable using an electronic computer system CD-ROM software.

I think he means DVD but am not sure. My grandfather has a record player you can borrow.
