I know there are collection places fort items....and there are numerous places collecting money...
are there any fundraising events that anyone knows of? or that are being planned?
I would like to volunteer...
and if there aren't any.... would anyone like to try to think of a way to have an event?please email me

ok I am gonna go clear my head on the slopes tomorrow......and maybe I will figure out an idea when I come back for all you slobs to join in on..... cause it definitely seems as if the creativity is lacking....

right now in Thailand they need people who can speak other langauges besides english like German or Swedish and Dutch and they need blood specifically blood that is RH negative and more common in white people. If you can help with that come on down.

ok.....I just saw DB's site.....and although I dont understand WTF it said..... if its the same idea I will shit myself.....
we offer design work to companies but in return like 75% of the fee they pay will be donated... this will encourage them to donate......
anyone in? Maybe donate 100% .....the only thing is that this kind of thing takes a lot of time as we all know for pro bono work... I feel bad even thinking about taking a percentage.....anyone have any ideas?

ok what about offering fixed rate sites...... maybe like 5 page professionally designed sites....
everyone could offer a hand in this.... we could set up strict rules on revisions and stuff..... and then we could have a bunch of designers in the queue or something like that...
so lets say you had 10 designers and 20 projects ....each designer would get 2 projects....
I just registered designforasia.com just in case and maybe if someone else comes up with any other ideas...

I dunno as I think about this idea it gets rougher by the second....

what about if we were to create posters or tshirts.... and then use like merchline or madmerch .....something with one offs..... and then any money would be donated.....
I think this might be a better idea.....anyone want to throw in some php/design help to pull this off.... maybe we could get MT to host for free etc....I mean we all have connections we could use....

I have sent money.....but trying to raise more.....
there are kids outside selling hot chocolate in the city raising like $400 a day for unicef....
I think the selling posters, etc... might be something..... maybe a very good satellite photo of the earth....with a good caption...
