whoah, I just finished MGS3, and if you played the other 2 games and know the history of the series...total mind-blow. I knew the obvious stuff going in but all the little details make this an amazing series.

shit, fate.. gave up on the 300 big robots at the end...
did you try playing for 20+ straight?.. the game starts to fuck with you.. saying shit like "Snake, you have played too long.. go to bed.. " on the intercom... and it just goe3s on and on, till you shut off the console and start again...
fucking freaked me out .. had to smoke weed to get over it..

That's MGS2, and that is some real deep post-modernist shit right there. People have done their THESIS on the plot of MGS2.
MGS3 is a good mixture of simple concepts and history of MGS1, while building on the foundation of alllll the shit introduced in MGS2.

I just picked up MGS3 and Call of Duty: Frontline. Both kick some major ass. Still playing San Andreas and I can honestly say I am yet to be bored with it. Went back and tried to play Vice City and was extremely frustrated with the controls.
Think I will pick up Prince of Persia 2, Getaway 2, and of course, Gran Turismo 4 ASAP.
