I just got back from a White House open house and touring all the Christmas decorations... was very impressive.
regardless of what anyone thinks about who is currently in the WH that place is amazing and the tradition & history in that place is awesome.

absolutely, in fact you can look back at the history of the place and look at who's visited it and what events took place. one of the wonders IMO.

I couldnt agree more. I remember my trip to DC. Amazing, thats all I could think.
Its just sad that we could have gone from such a great country, founded on great beleifs and ideals, to this illiterate war-loving redneck pile.
I just hope that bush leaves when his 2nd term is up...I could see him trying to be sneaky and appointing himself dictator of the world. No one would do anything if he did...I mean fuck, look what he's doing now and no one will fucking stand up and stop this.

Missed the WH tour, but Library of Congress is an amazing building. It's on par with the European classics.
