Jox, you're silly. The US is flooded with foreign doctors. They are everywhere. Not that it is a bad thing to have Arab and Asian doctors, it's just that most of the positions are well filled with qualified applicants. So why come here to become a doctor?
You're talking about univerisities that churn out thousands of doctors a year, in the USA alone, and then even MORE coming from other nations?! There just isn't a demand. There is nothing about race involved. I live in Indiana, a redneck Red-State, and no one has a problem going to Asian doctors, it's a norm here.

there used to be a time when 90% of all the threads on NT were somehow design related. those were good times. If the threads were like that still, this thread wouldn't be a problem. But now, it's like 90% of all threads are not design-related.

we have the opposite problem in canada fate, we have an insane shortage of doctors here. it took my literally two years to find a doctor taking new patients when i moved to calgary. and our government makes it almost impossible for immigrant doctors to practice here as well. it sucks all around.

Very well then, make my statement "everywhere except USA", because we aren't exactly pumping out doctors left and right, yet I still probably get my morning bagel from a dentist and get gas from a brain surgeon.

people here help me all the time, i may not have anything to contribute because i am not as skilled as most people here, and someone else can most definately help better than i. i read most help threads and try to learn something from them, and if there is something i can help with i can. i am a contributor.
now enough defending myself (pointless practice i know) if you people don't want to talk about this issue please dont post here. :)
