right now I'm wearing a nascar style jump suit covered in corporate logos. I have working children follow me around sewing on new patches constantly.

the problem is we are all consumers, it's difficult to not be (damn near impossible) so the most powerful thing we have left is awareness. Try not to buy sweat shop shit, try not to work for bad people (I am really bad at this one) and try to do the right thing.
It's hard but it works sometimes.Saying that I am really sold on Howies stuff, clothes, ideology, the whole lifestyle they are selling. But at the end of the day that could be owned by nike for all I know...
In any case, what do I know, I'm just a hippy!

and although i am hippy as fuck and against everything corporate i still like the image.
*spills sauce from BigMac over Nikes
*cleans up with towel collected with points at Shell
*logs back into bank account to see how the good old oil shares are doing
*takes a look at Rolex
*gets out of IKEA chair
*decides it's time to hit the old Häskens bed again

oh and one comment on Nike.
No, I don't wear Nike shoes anymore. I got only one pair for the gym/fitness etc. but do not use them daily.
I have had horrible experience with Nike shoes, they are all expensive and i always could throw them away only after a few months.
The last pair of Nikes even cracked open after ONE month (!!) so the air leaked out of the "AIRballoon" in it..
i am fed up with it.
i now wear less known brands, that aren't overdesigned and still wearable after a year of daily use.
and guess what? half price of your average Nike pair.
