Does anyone have a problem with Maxell DVD+Rs that can't be read and just eject after about 30 seconds. There is a warning about 2.4 speed drives with this DVD but I can't find specs anywhere on the speed of my DVD driver on a 17" Powerbook.

Sorry, I can't help you, but I just want to grab the opportunity to bitch about Maxell.
Maxell totally sucks, d00d! Had *another* CD-RW crap out on me today.
Thanks, I'm done.

Thanks for the quick responses. That was 4 in less than a minute.
I guess this is another price for my stupidity. I'm not having a good month. I'm going to bed.

all +r is , is a format created by somebody so they didnt have to pay royalties for -r
-r are better in the end... + r are crap
- gabriel20
what difference is there in the formats other than when they came out?
side note: seems pretty lame to not allow burning of multiple format dvd's...
- gabriel20
so dvd+r is better? since the difference in price is negligible...
