I am drooling man. Sad part is 1.) I dont live near whistler, 2.) Its winter now, and I can't ride. 3.) I need a new bike.
Actually I will probably be getting a new bike soon. Looking for something similar to a santa cruz chameleon.

that's just what i needed, more rad photos of whistler, ha. few buddies of mine are heading out there soon for a trip but i can't make it. eeeerrrrrrrrr. one day damnit, one day.

ahh yes, my backyard... logged bout 25 days this summer. its fuckin great up there... love it, and so totally addictive.
i highly suggest anyone interested to make the trek. but i do caution... if you rock a hard tail and don't like to hit 4-10' table tops i suggest getting a dual suspension. the smoothest trails here are fast banked turn with table tops, step ups and step downs... all the other trails are bumpy as hell... especially the new Garbanzo area.
But yeah, come out... make a trip of it, and as of next summer Cypress in Vancouver will have a bike park going as well.

Whistler rules it. I had a bunch of days at the bike park this season and a few on the trails outside of town.
Looking forward to next summer, especially since I kept my big bike (a Shore) instead of going xc with a Blur.
And if you want to ride other parts of Cypress, you better get down there quick. The lower trails on the mountain are quickly becoming victims of 'progress'.
