Is this month's issue worth the 7 nuggets?

I've always liked the ghostbusters logo too, it's just kinda 'right'.
I wasn't too enamoured by the article though, didn't really teach me anything but then perhaps that wasn't the point. well done anyway.

If I wanted to teach you something I would of been far more highbrow like some of the other entries. Build did a very good article on his chosen subject.

good issue

the answer to the article.....
Michael C. Gross
"...... designed much of the advertising for those projects and designed the famous “no ghost” logo for Ghostbusters."

Well, I like the Ghostbusters logo, but I didn't think that what you said was very interesting.
"I remember this; I remember that, different posters were used." I think that you did begin to touch on an interesting idea, with using a logo as the primary selling point, and the use of a fully fledged brand used both in the film and in the real world, but performing slightly different functions, and how the audience relate to it and how the Ghosterbusters brand in the film carries values across with it into the real world.
Or how the comic style of the logo reflects the comic film, or how we automatically read the road sign as a sign, and how the ghost is both trapped, and reaching out, showing possible escape.
Although I admire your work in general James I don't think you said anything in your column. But maybe that was the point, I don't know what the brief was.

haha.

It was more the difference between what you appreciate as an 8 year old as opposed to a 28 year old...
'and how the ghost is both trapped, and reaching out, showing possible escape' ... I'll leave that sort of thing to Brian Sewell

I didn't take offecnce, I was chuckling about your Brian Sewell reference. Congrats at being asked to write in the mag.
