freehand or illustration?

freehand 10, but mx is no good. if the next version doesn't categorize my fonts by family like illustrator, i'm going to switch for good.

freehand mx works beautifully on my machine but illustrator so sloooow on my machine - that is g4 mac

Which ever tool you feel most comfortable using. [Hint] DR won't hire you unless you use Freehand. But once you know one of the you know them all.

there is also CorelDraw + there is a Open Source Illustrator software. Don't remember the link.

yeah.. i also use flash mx for the illustrations even tho i dont know how to create stunning websites on flash lol

Man I used to use Corel way back in the day, along with their photo-editing program. Was pretty simple sorta like old school nintentdo, A & B. hahah goodtimes.

I couldn't justify the expense of freehand after buying the adobe creative suite. I used to be all about the freehand, but i've got used to illy now, its pretty good.
At first i didn't like how it turned everything into a filter. In freehand if you punch a hole in something, bam theres a hole. In illy, you punch a hole in something and its still the same thing but with a hole filter over the top.
am i making sense?

Well, it takes a considerable amount of time to master illustrator (or freehand). I can get a 12 year old to poop out a vector illustration in flash in no time. learning curve factor thats all.
