Yes, that is where the bookmarks are stored. If you are still having trouble finding them just do a search on your hard drive for bookmarks.html and it'll eventually come up.
As far as keeping your bookmarks syncronized the solution is simple: don't use IE. ;)

Ya, it is a bit dodgy, but usually the trick is to find the right combination of exports to Firefox imports.

why doesn't the import function work properly in firefox (i mean after the initial installation)...can't u updated with the most current favorites in IE?
