where is the favorites folder/file located in firefox?
i looked on the internets and it lied to me saying it should be at
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\de... Filename:bookmarks.html
ps: do any of you use both IE and firefox and get pissed when you update your bookmarks in one and forget to update them in the other? cause i do.

Yes, that is where the bookmarks are stored. If you are still having trouble finding them just do a search on your hard drive for bookmarks.html and it'll eventually come up.
As far as keeping your bookmarks syncronized the solution is simple: don't use IE. ;)

why doesn't the import function work properly in firefox (i mean after the initial installation)...can't u updated with the most current favorites in IE?

Ya, it is a bit dodgy, but usually the trick is to find the right combination of exports to Firefox imports.
