Bonseff, bull sh it, Artest tried to walk off and stay out of things but Wallace's actions made the whole place get out of hand. If Wallace would have not lost his head like that then he would have taken his foul shots and Detroit would have possibly caught up some.

Although Artest is giant fucking punk. The fans crossed the line first.

I don't know how many of you have been in hard-core fights, but Artest, by far, as well as Stephen Jackson, could have really f*cked those dudes up. They seems drunk and stunned, Artest clearly held back.
O'Neal didn't, he clocked the sh*t out of that fat kid, who was obviously trying to provoke Artest. I like Detroit as a team, but I call it as I see it.

1) artest started it. 40 seconds to go, indiana way ahead, artest getting his ass handed to him all game by wallace gets beat and throws a cheap foul.
2) wallace gave him a good shove. which he shouldn't have.
3) artest like a prick goes and lays on the scorers table in piston territory like an asshole.
4) that piston fan that got jacked wasn't a fan that came onto the court. he was the towel boy for the pistons. look at him. he never raised his arms to artest, artest flinched thinking he was going to attack him, sees he has a pistons jersey on and punches him. if you'll notice he never even says anything to artest before he gets punched, his curiosity brought him over and he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. so as he's being helped up you can clearly see him mouth 'what the fuck dude' and wham, gets cheap shotted and knocked out. bullshit.
5) you can take the kids (and they are kids) out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the kids. they're thugs plain and simple.
6) ban them for fucking life. pete rose bet on baseball and what happens to him?!? these piles of shit do this and get 30 days and a season suspension?!? bullshit.
they work for a company that is employed by the nba. plain and simple. if i worked for a subsidiary of microsoft, and fought like that on the job what would happen?!? that's right. bye bye. and that is what should happen here.
wallace should get suspended but he didn't get into the fighting.
what makes it worse is an equally bad fight broke out against clemson and south carolina. lou holtz in the middle of it. him being 78 years old. unreal the thug nature that takes over. so hard to watch.
what has happened to the state of sports and the athlete? gone are the days of the jordan, bird, johnson, jabbar. so sad.

wonk wonk wonk...
artest and oneal shouldnt have even been in the game. they were up 15. he was being a punk and showing out.
he got what was coming to him

Bonseff, keep making excuses. Wallace lost his cool first.

video clip?
- k0na_an0k0
hit up espn.

Bonseff, I would have to agree.
O'Neal and Artest shouldn't have been on the court at that time.
Although, the suspension are inequitable. If B. Wallace was in on causing tempers to flare, regardless of a hard foul by Artest at the end, then he should get more.
The fans being on the court is ridiculous.
- BonSeff0
ok fate. i dont agree with you at all. im done.
- BonSeff0
so wallace should get clobbered and just take it? you all are fucked. cept kona
- k0na_an0k0
am i on everyones ingore list here?!? that fat kid was detroits towel boy, not a fan. as for the other fans yeah they shouldn't hvae been on the court. it surprises me though cause those seats AIN'T cheap. for all the bulls games i've gone to, and 3 or 4 times been 'on the court' like that, i was surrounded by guys in suits or laid back money types. maybe it's just the fans there?!? punks as well.
it was hard to see that grandpa looking guy throw a punch at artest and see him punch back. wtf people.
- ricstultz0
either way athletes are suppose to be professional... and they weren't.
Ban all their asses thru next season and set an example.. this can't be happening again.
done.
- fate0
ricstultz, it wasn't the holocaust man, it was some fans wanting a fight with the players.

Bonseff, what the h*ll are you talking about I'm f*cked. First of all, I would never lower myself to calling someone a name here or saying that you are f*cked.
B. Wallace was hard fouled and retaliated. That Artest foul wasn't even considered a flagrant foul by the NBA. My point is that B. Wallace, although fouled hard shouldn't have grabbed Artest by the neck. That's a no-no. You don't stick your finger in someone's face and such and expect him not to come back at you. Artest didn't even do that, he backed off.
BTW, Pistons should stop selling beer during that last period and have drunk fans who were pissed about losing in the first place. Although the NBA is doing the right thing with suspensions, they need to equalize this.
- ricstultz0
I didn't say it was the holocaust dude... but it is serious.
- brandelec0
but did the cheerleaders make it out okay?!?
- BonSeff0
artest didnt back off. he about shit his pants when wallace came at him
- Dublao70
B. Wallace is to blame. That was not a hard foul at all. Furthermore, when Artest was being an 'asshole' by laying down on the scorer's table, it was clear he was avoiding any altercation while his team surrounded him in support. B. Wallace was furthering the trouble by trying to get to Artest and throwing his wrist band etc. What the hell was Artest hurting by lying down on the table? There was a fight still going on while he was lying there. It’s not like we were waiting on Artest to get off the table to start the game back up, we were waiting on Wallace to cool down.
- Dublao70
Once the fans got into it.....
Well then it's hard to say who is more at fault, fans or pacers. Stupid situation all around.
