OK lets get a few things clear.... The Division Bell and Momentary Lapse fo Reason are NOT Pink Floyd albums. That SHIT is Gilmour trying to ride the wave of a career that should have ended on a high. Glimour is one of music's greatest guitarists but without Water's song writing ability he just may as well be a session musician. There was no Beatles without both John and Paul, no Zepplin without Bonham on drums, no Black Sabbath without Ozzy and no Floyd without Waters.

My boss was front of house sound on the wall!!! He still has the black shirts that they all used to wear for the shows... at the time some girl basically wanted to screw his brains out for the shirt!!!! Apparently he also has some original scripts that were written whilst conceving the wall...... Ive even been lucky enough to take a visit to the PF studios!! LEGENDS

Syd can be found living with his mum in Cambridge and he is seen almost daily riding his bike, you can ride it if you like, its got a basket and a bell and lots of things that make it look good!
Wish you were here is my favourite album, Shine on 1-9 is a phenominal track - agreed title track is the best acoutsic track ever - first song I learnt on my guitar
Floyd without Waters? wihtout Barrett? Different strokes for different blokes, but the floyd I know and love is Waters, Gilmour, Wright and Mason

The Wall is a brilliant album. The movie is very over-powering but that's beacuse it's supposed to be like that... Sound of Music it aint.
Best albums for me are: DSOTM, Wish you were here and the Final Cut. Couldn't stand all that Saucerful of Secrets nonsense. Each to his / her own eh?

i made the mistake of watching the wall on mushrooms back in '86 after having seen it str8 in '84....whole different movie, described as: "Big bummer"
.
I was in 8th grade when the wall came out, so it was like the friggin new testament. It also made a whole lot of 80's kids get into the early stuff.
how many people cried listening to wish you were here?

The movie made me want to become an artist.
