I have been thinking more lately about how everything we do on the internet (typing, discussions, P2P, everything we view) can be so easily monitored. It seems like these simple activities could lead to our downfall. I am becoming more wary of even discussing politics. Considering these types of discussion are laced with key words. Even though I've done nothing wrong. I am afraid that by discussing these issues (on the phone, web, etc) we could get put on some watch list or something.

I don't think it's alarmist to have a reasonable concern about the future of digital privacy. No need to be paranoid about it.
