Fun and potentially 2000 euros, that's nothing to shake a stick at. Think of all the hobo arms you can buy from Kona for that much cake.

and just think if you guys just called up the design reps at JDK which designs all the burton decks you would get paid 3 times that without the contest frustration.
snowboard design contests are not about promoting good design folks, they are about marketing. Do you think it is a coincedence that the winners last year are all designers that snowboard?
i think the term they used to call this was "guerilla marketing" and we are the target demographic.

ok... but where is the check box to show them you are a snowboarder? I didn't see it... better chances are that the artists aren't snowboarders, Salomon just presents them that way.
...or snowboarders won cuz they know the culture and what people want to see on boards.

And the last book was good, but if you have the Lodown books, IDN annuals, Trigger or any of the other die-gestalt published books, you would've already seen 85% of the content in the last one.
