and just think if you guys just called up the design reps at JDK which designs all the burton decks you would get paid 3 times that without the contest frustration.
snowboard design contests are not about promoting good design folks, they are about marketing. Do you think it is a coincedence that the winners last year are all designers that snowboard?
i think the term they used to call this was "guerilla marketing" and we are the target demographic.
