imah bid and see, cause even normal jeans are 40$...
i like teh nudies...
g-star look good too...
i just want some nice jeans, and it's ok if you bash me, cause i usually bash people for things like spending too much on jeans, but if i can find em cheap, it's teh man!

yea, there's tons of these jeans threads.
I agree about G-Star getting too funky. But they still turn out some normal shit.
Just don't get anything with dick whiskers. Those are weak.

i am a denim whore and i have discovered the greatness of G-Star, everything they've been producing lately has been so damn ace i can't believe it. i think you guys are confusing the 'funky' with Energie, G-Star jeans are straight-up classic, although they have fairly progressive finishes.
rogan is super nice, but where i've seen them they're around $425, G-Star goes for about $130 and that's fine for an amazing pair of jeans imo.

I have not worn a pair of jeans since 1977.
I know you dont care.
I have recently gotten back into vintage Levis 519 cords (I wore them in high school). DONT tell anyone. I now own a dozen pairs. I have not spent more than $30 for any one pair.

Diesel all the way... one of the best fits by far.
$179?! That's fucking cheap! Wish I could buy the top-end Diesel shreds over in the UK for that sorta money.
You think that's expensive, try shopping in Covent Garden!!!

I tried those Zatans on and a few other pair of Diesel last week - the Zathans fit like a champ.
In the end, didn't want to spend the money.
If you're looking for cool jeans like that, check out Volcom. Just bought a pair of the Scrambler last night, about $70.
If they're not "vintage" looking enough, get a seam ripper, some heavy duty sandpaper and go to work.

Yeah Diesel all the way as well.. kinda alot but u wouldnt be a cool designer if u didnt play and look the part all comes down to if ur a real designer u have to look all trendy and hip.

True.
There is a fine line between looking like a designer and looking like a fashion student though...
...and no one wants to look like a fashion student.

myobie 179 for jeans...i know its hard to shop in bburg,va (i assume thats where you are) but if you want a vintage look go for the real vintage...levis 517. I have about 6 pairs. Got my first pair at the thrift store by the Kroger on Main street.

I, too, hate jeans, but have a nostalgic yen for corduroy jeans, but didn't know what brand to look for- I'll check out the levis- thnx

IMO, no they are bad jeans. Go with quality: D&G, Armani Jeans, Ben Sherman, G-Star, etc. Those jeans that you showed will be in the garbage can in three months, because they are gonna' fall apart after four washes. Quality over quantity.

I'd agree with k0na though, paying too much doesn't make sense. i didn't say you should pay full price and BlueFly.com is nice.
- ********0
bluefly has shit selection.
i myself rock 2 pairs of paper denim. great jeans. & i can justify spending $200 on a pair because its all i wear.
- ********0
btw, dont buy jeans on the interweb unless you've tried on that cut beforehand and know how it looks on you.
denim can look great on screen but fit really funny if you're not careful.

Paper Denim isn't bad. No BlueFly has some nice deals, you just have to actively check it.

pushme, your right, in bburg it's terrible for buying anything...
i bidded on some diesels on ebay, will probably be over bid because i bidded real low...

i am a very skinny person...so i have heard that diesels will actually fit me correctly...

skinny+tall+big hands+big feet
