Buy it man.... you'll loose precious time trying to fond it on P2P, i think its 4 CD's ... AND be sure the P2P networks are going to be filled up with files Half-Life2_FULL.exe (5gb) and when you will unzip it you will get Half-Life 1 or a super big porn movie or Age Of Empire 2.
So take your car, go buy it. you will be playing in 30min that way.

Regarding your file size comment I'm pretty sure there's a DVD edition.

maybe dvd later, but for now in physical form it's 4 or 5 cd's

i got it from STEAM so i got no CD's at all :)
If i want to re-install later i just need to redownload it.

The only thing I truly hate about macs is not being able to play Half-life 2 (and Counter-strike).
I wanna buy a new pc with half-life 2... RIGHT NOW!

i got it steamed on my pc but don't have an internet connection at home at the moment so can't buy it to play it

if you steamed it you already payed it. you mean you can't unlock it.
internet connection is require to unlock the game.
bring you pc to a friend who have internet connection to unlock it.

only 1 prob i got... on certain explosions it lags me for a second or two.
If i got more ram would it help?

128Mo is allright.
do a defrag on your HD, be sure to have some free space on it. Adding another 512Mo of RAM to get to the 1gb of RAM can be a great thing, youll also like it for Photoshop and the rest ;)

This game is fuckin' amazing. It's like playing a movie, welll almost. Valve (creators) have really outdone themsleves... Go buy the game, you will not be disappointed you spent the money! And if possible buy it thru Steam(their content delivery system) to ensure that Valve gets the money and not Vivendi, the money grubbing distributor.

The game itself have a good design. I like the colors, the typography, the sounds. Its great in every ways.

Benfal, what's your setup?
I turned on the fps monitor. i get 100 fps in the beginning of the game but at the part when you're in the trainyard it can drop to 4 fps all of a sudden and it get choppy for no apparent reason.
i've got:
athlonxp 3200+
1gig ram
ati 9800pro oc'd to core 400, mem 700

I've been playing CS Source for the past couple of weeks though, and it runs beautifully at highest settings on this:2.8Ghz P4, 768MB ram, Radeon 9800Pro 128MB.
