The president of the U.A.E also passed away last week.
May their journey through the stars be peaceful.

RIP? I doubt it, not with his past.
"PLO has performed both military and political actions. Military, the organization has been involved in actions against both Israeli troops and against innocent civilians, not only Israelis, but people of many nationalities."

I'll be damned if this is going to turn into another political thread by people who dont really know what they're talking about. Let the man die for heavens sake.

ok ok. :)

Sorry, Didn't mean to get pissed :)

Shit, that's about as funny as a prison rape.

RIP his troubles are now over - those of his people (and their oppressive neighbours) may very well get worse :(

to be honest, he had too peaceful of a death when you consider how many naive young palestinians he sent off to die when he could have had a palestinian state years ago ( the only thing that stopped him was recognizing isreal as a sovereign state ).

I didn't realise the conflict was so painfully simple, thanks for clearing all that up TFS!

the man is dead, spare us the rhetoric.
- tfsmag0
actually it was that simple at one time... read up on it a bit

PS: this was before isreal started building settlements on the west bank.. at least i'm pretty sure it was.
i'm not completely up to date on the subject myself... i do know that arafat could have spared many many lives had he wished.

As could most world leaders.
And please don't patronise people on the PVN, especially in tribute threads...
