initally used the api... but that was even slower... and too much maths was involved in calculated the angles of the folds and subsequent angles of the text... so found a dirty way of doing it.

its funny when you look at something and then relaise on the tube home a better way to do it and manage to rebuild it in a matter of hours! I think you have to go through the pain and complication to come out with simplicity.
