I have to brag about my little incident this weekend. My wife and I were leaving home when we noticed a couple of Boxers running the streets and NOT paying attention to traffic at all. I could tell they weren't supposed to be out.
So I got one of them to come over and let me look at his collar. Sure enough he had a phone number. Called the number but they weren't home. So then I called the number for the Vet that did his Rabies vaccine. They gave me the house number and I went up with the dogs and knocked. Nobody home. So I noticed that the side gate was open and I walked over there and they headed straight in. I locked the gate and gave it a good shake to make sure it didn't come open.
Later I had a message on my phone from the lady thanking me for saving her dogs. She couldn't figure out how they were opening the gate, but she was gonna lock it shut. I'm just glad her dogs didn't get hurt!!
My good vibes to spread to you all!!!

Well, they totally had that "look". You know, when a dog gets out and obviously NEVER goes out alone. It was really funny because they were chasing each other all over, but I was worried because no one really pays much attention on the street.

good for yoou. I, on the other hand, trapped a mouse that had been pooing all over the house with a glue trap and he was looking at me all scared and I feel like shit right now.

my two boxers have been trying to devise a plan to open our gate for some time now..., no such luck though.
glad that there are still people around that care and take time to help. it's too few and far between.
cheers!!

aawww, no!!! nice-land, say it ain't so?! what did you do with the mouse looking at you?
I once had a mouse problem in an apt. and the only way to get them was with sticky traps...but I felt bad because it seems like a horrible death so I had drown them they got on the traps. I never cried so much. :(

i once solved my mice problem with a shot gun. that just caused a drywall problem that i solved by stuffing the holes with dynomite.
i don't NEED to tell you how bad that turned out.

true story my pal and his lady were reall yhigh on acid one night and they were lying in bed tripping out when they saw and heard... wait.... they heard then saw a mouse and so they went a got a wee bit of chedder and popped it under a shoe box that they had propped up with a hair thingy then attached thread to it then the mouse went for the chedder then they pulled the thing and the caught it :) I went round the next day and they were too scared to look under it so I had to let the wee scamp out of the back door.

Once when i was a kid I killed a spider in my room late one night. Now, I'm shit scared of spiders, I'm only slightly ashamed to tell you, so I just left it under my little Converse All-Star (remember those? Of course you do, I bet half of you still wear them :p). By the next morning there was a long trail of tiny red ants carrying the spider parts away. It freaked me out that I had encouraged carnivorous ants into my room. :(
Anyway, good show, chap. :) Those dogs will never forget the day that jerk stranger ruined their fun.
