i have a question about the 300D, i'm looking into getting a fisheye for my 300D and i'm wondering if splurging for the canon glass is the way to go. I seen some cheaper raynox lenses, but it doesn't look like it has the same sort of fisheye distortion.
anyhoo, just wondering if you have any experience with using the 300D and a fisheye.
here is the lens i'm looking at

how much are the raynox lenses?
i would opt for the canon quality... in the long run its a better investment...

I have a raynox 180 pro that I use for spherical shooting.
Not bad, but I use it on a canon a80 and all the adaptors take some of the FOV away so it turns out to be about 160 FOV

that is a sweeet lens tho...
the canon...

on a 300d with a 1.6 lens factor that ends up being 22mm
and that is not worth it the distortion will look funny....I suggest buying the l series 14-40 zoom they put out a bit more money but ends up being a 20mm not a 22mm and it's better glass :)
you asked carty but he would have ended up asking me

some nice shots in there.. i really prefer those that arent double-exposures though.. looks a tad amateurish.

also,
grayhood, thanks for looking out. but i'm gonna stick with this vegas deal for now and see how it works out!
- tfsmag0
also
@sykosis : do you have a link to said lens? (the l series).
thanks
- sykosis0
thanks for the love people..
but wow I can't believe I made the mistake but it's a 17-40 or a 16-35 both are L series
investing in lenses is important and they have a higher resale value
