step 1. open illustrator
step 2. take a drag
step 3. draw a line a copy it a bunch of times...like maybe 30
step 4. take one line to the top of the page, put one at the bottom
step 5. open align pallete
step 6. center distribute evenly
step 7. group all
step 8. rotate 45 degrees
