nt is NOT the place to seek constructive criticism...there are a few scattered voices in the crowd that actually help out in situations like that...hence, most people don't ask for crits here...it is more of a place to fuck around than accomplish anything...you get more props here for a good burn than a good folio

i've tried to help you with critism and suggestions, and even offered up a logo, but you still rag on all of the design community, that we're all overpaid assholes. how would you like it if i generalized about contractors? that they cut corners and steal peoples money? i mean, i see it on the news, does that mean you all do it? no, of course not. just because a few people give you negative feedback about your project you shit on all of us. if i came to a construction site with a construction project i made, and needed help with it, what would you do? i mean, i can build a little, would you help me finsih it for a few hundred dollars? the point im making is that so many people feel that creative work is less work and so easy compared to manual labour, but it isnt, its just a different kind of labour, and without people doing your kind of work, and building the desk and chair i work at, then people like us couldnt survive, and without achitechts to design the houses you work on, you couldnt survive
so you do your work, we'll do ours, and if you want to design your own logo, all the power to you, i applaud people who want to expand their horizons, but dont piss on us when we critisize you, because critism is part of the job, its what makes you better, and i suspect you'd do the same thing if any of us came to you for help finishing our basement.

i think your definition of criticism is clouded 82. there's criticism and then taking so much of it, you walk away feeling like shit from people you respect. no kidding - last week i respected this place. my oppinion of it has since gone down the shitter.
