what's your thought on these?

the top one is the only one that looks like a 'logo' the rest look like headers for a website
that said, im not fond of any of them
the top one is all over the place, it needs to be brought together, the text and the logo are seperate elements that dont appear to belong together
the rest are just clip art / stock photos and a font

fuck this. i bust my ass off trying to come up with something today.. i post up 150bones asking for help with a logo design and i get laughed at. shitty deal, it takes me 15 hours to make that much. so i fucking do it myself and i show up here asking for some quick tips and you're wasting my time by knocking my bluecollar governement city and my profession. holy fuck. what i'd do to knock your yuppie fucking teeth out.

hahahaha this is pretty funny. hey polar since I got fired today I might help out with that logo...but its gunna cost you a whole hell of a lot more $$ then 150...think of it as doing something for the unemployed! ok? I'll love ottowa forever.

seriously dude, go to alonquin... im sure a bill 50 will get you an ok looking logo from a hungry student.
but if you want a tip, make your type stronger and feel like you're gonna actually fix something. (ie- helv. neue bold) and then silhouette that hammer and play with those 2 elements (type + symbol) so it looks like they're making sweet love.
and i wasnt knocking your profession.. i was only knocking your city.

yes, there are unending throngs of yuppie pompous arrogant snobs here on this site, a lot of which cant design their way out of wet paper bags... but you obviously have no respect for the blue collar worker types who have experience and who spend a great deal of time at their craft.
Do you realize just how long it REALLY takes to design a good logo? More than $150 worth of time even at minimum wage...
