is there somethin like Rhino for mac?
I found blender 3d in PVN search, but it seems difficult to use
I use cinema 4d that is the bomb for rendering but not that easy for modelling..

Looked into Maya for mac?

Modeling is very similar in most programs. Maya is also an option for Macs, but modeling won't be any different in that program.
Get to know the tools.

i know a bit of maya, but is not what i'm looking for, I know there is something just modelling, maybe already posted in PVN..
problem is cinema 4d is not good for fillet surfaces.. and for product design render that i need to do is a pain!

there is nothing better than "modo" from Luxology

there's also Carrara and Amapi at http://www.eovia.com

i vote for wings3d, it's really a powerful tool. Although, just a tool, certainly not suited for anything but modeling and texturing. I use Max and XSI, but i keep going back to wings for modelling.

Get Mesh Surgery for C4D and you'll love it.
Or get the upgrade to R9 if you can afford it. The modelling tools have been completely overhauled and are pretty damn awesome.

Curiouslabs also makes SHADE

modo looks nice but there is no way to test it..
sounds weird, how can you pay 650$ for an obscure software, and if it is shit?
i tested 3d wings once and found it poor for detailed modelling..
will try to find that mesh surger
thanks for the suggestions anyway

I find Lightwave an excellent modelling tool - but is there anything specific that you model? Machines? Humans? thats the question

zaven, what do you mean by 'poor for detailed modelling'? it's subdivision modelling, probably the most popular way of modelling there is.
