flash image fade Q

anyone got any tips for fading in an image in flash with a bit of a twist... seen it a few places, not just an alpha fade but alomost like it's got a filter on it... but without using PS? forget the url i saw it at now.

use advanced - tween the colour values as you tween thew alpha values...

Click on the movieclip and go to advanced colours and change the R G B A to 250 then tween to R G B A to 0. You can do it by using script but i cant find it. Hope that helps.

it can be nice, that effect.
I use it for an easy 'ooh' factor for suit-wearing clients that go home at 5 pm..
Making the image go to almost max brightness vals (255,100 each), then opening the advanced nd making it have a yellowish tinge, like by dropping the blue value make it almost look like a color dodge layer effect.
I reckon.
