it can be nice, that effect.
I use it for an easy 'ooh' factor for suit-wearing clients that go home at 5 pm..
Making the image go to almost max brightness vals (255,100 each), then opening the advanced nd making it have a yellowish tinge, like by dropping the blue value make it almost look like a color dodge layer effect.
I reckon.
