I'm going to print soon and would like some opinions, especially with the info placement.I like the top pairing best, but I've concerns about some of the slower mental persuasion not being able to figure out if I've got a web site or not (when I make one, that is). It's just that my domain name is so bloody long it's been tricky to work in. :\
Also, these aren't the original colours, just what they ended up looking like printed and I liked 'em better and did my best to match. Thanks for any input, I appreciate it.

Ya... I noticed that the other day myself...
So 1 is the top choice thus far, what do other people think about leaving an explicid URL out?

the top pairing...but cant you get the site address printed on the back? centered near the bottom or something?
- DutchBoy0
it's a cool domain and all... but do you really think people will type this all out in their address bar? or even spell it right etc..?
what do you do? who are you aiming at?

You should be very careful using serfi fonts in general, and bold serif fonts in particular on business cards. With a url like that it looks like a typographic mess.
The background looks good, but try another font for your contact info. Maybe a different color too. Orange / dark yellow looks sad on green-ish / dark backgrounds.
- DutchBoy0
i agree with joks.
and someone who cannot be killed by conventianal weapons should not be sad like that.
- DutchBoy0
conventiOnal..
sorry, slip of the Freudian tongue there..
- sureshot0
i agree with dutchie a little.
- scarabin0
heh, but just a little
- DutchBoy0
yeah, i have to agree with scarabin on that one.

- I know it's a long-ass thing to type (I hate doing it myself), but, frankly, I'm OK with that. Maybe I'll change my position in the future, but for the time being I'll give it a try. I'm one of those hybrids who code and design: I haven't quite figured out my niche, if it'll be one or the other or I'll find a happy place in between. I think that will come with more experience. The people I want to be associated with are other like-minded individuals or organizations who will compliment my own style. I like clean, contemporary design, and people who can appreciate a tongue placed firmly in cheek.
*Sorry, I also tend to go on...
- I'm trying to avoid printing info on both sides, I thought it made it messier than it needed to be.
- I thought about using a different face for the info (it looks much sharper printed, at least) so I'll be sure to give it a try. I also liked the colour combo but I'll play with that some more as well.
- Also currently wresting with my "onal" ;) I'll have some more to post in a while if y'all don't mind.

wurd dutch...i have to agree with scarabin also..
but just a little..
hah! you didnt saw that one coming!
- DutchBoy0
you defended yourself well on that one, welded.
good for you.
and goodluck sir! ;)
(oh yes do something about anal indeed... anal weapons on brownish bg is jsut weird..)
- scarabin0
you can be killed by non-conventional weapons though, right?
like a spoon?

Only slight changes at a glance, but a number of them.
- The type in six is The-Sans Bold at a very light brown (#D6D79F)
- The type in seven is Optima bold at a very light green (#CBEA93)
- The type is eight is Gill Sans bold at a light red (#BF9E78) and a light green-grey (#C7CFB4).
- I think I've address the anal issue, let me know if I'm just not seeing it. Also, that aside I think there are some small kerning issues in the background text which is just noticed now.Peronally I'm for the grey Gill Sans, but I'd love to get some more input.
Thanks a bunch. I've been on NT for years now and this is the first time I've actually solicited critiques - it's been good. :)

*ba-dump*
I like the grey Gill printed, it really pops off the background. My reasoning for choosing these three faces is I wanted some sort of humanist sans serif to compliment the Cooper. What do you think?
