Ever been lost in the valley between Whistler and Blackcomb? I nearly died there last year, I've never been so scared in my life.
No cell phone reception, 1 power bar, and a half of a camel back, by myself.
I must have post holed for 3 hours before stumbling upon a cross country trail.

ahh yes, you got caught in good ol fitzsimmons valley... you sure aren't the first to do that.
i always laugh when i see tracks going down off the Harmony cat track... sure the trees look great and the its all untracked... and its also gonna be a fun hike out.
i had the pleasure of getting caught in the valley on the other side Whistler mtn... many hours of climbing through creeks, over and under fallen trees... fun stuff, and what an epic run before that but i'll never let that happen again... once is enough, had to hitch hike home from Function.

I dropped in and had a few epic turns before the trees tightened up on me.
My brother-in-law almost followed me in but a local warned him not to do it.

just got up to vail after a sketchy drive - it was throwing down..couldn't see a damn thing for most of the drive.

yes... god bless them, i too am currently pilfering the old wireless... weird tho cuz where i live is like all wekkend warriors who come up like once in a blue moon. in the 4 months i've lived at this spot i have yet to see other tennants... see their cars, just not them.
