I'm down for the double-euro trip. Les Arcs for NYE, then Avoriaz for a week early March.
In my experience, the Porte Du Soleil district is pretty good.
Unless I'm out of work, in which case, I may just stay as long as I can...

just got all my new shit the last few days... outerwear, board, boots, bindings.
i plan to hit up the interior of BC at some point... maybe hit up Baker too.
i usually don't go on shred holidays as i have ski-in and ski-out access to the best mountains in N. America... Whistler and Blackcomb... snow line was about a 100 feet up from my place this morning.
Who's coming out this way this season?
- jevad0
I think I'll be heading up your way in Jan/Feb dude....

im there in feb

yeah I hear there are some nice ones in BC
- versa0
if there is a floor for me to lay my head, i would love to finally ride those mtns
- 2cent0
nice... so other than Jevad, anyone else?
versa... my floor awaits you.
Whistler and Blackcomb mtns are great... i mean how many places are there where you can literally stand at the base of both mtns and choose one or the other... with a walk of about 30 feet seperating teh 2 lifts.
only thing i wish is that they were about 2000' higher, cuz unfortunately we can get rain all the way to top in the middle of teh season.
but man... 7500 acres of rideable terrain, 200+ marked runs and not to mention oodles of beauty gladded areas and about 8000' elevation.... not too shabby... oh, and if thats not enough say hello to the back country.

No, seriously, lived in Whitefish, MT and the BC mountains are amazing. I am envious of you BC'rs.
Strappin on the tele skiis tomorrow! YAHOOO!
- 2cent0
telemarker eh broz... you must have legs like tree trunks, i have so much respect for people that tele.
seems like a non stop workout down the mtn... specially in the pow-pow.
- brozilla0
2cent-its hard work, the older i get the harder it is.
i've had the pleasure to board, downhill, and tele in powder. tele is bar far the best way to go -doesnt take a whole lot of powder for nice face-shots ;p
