Can anyone recommend a super cheap webhost that offers email support (not just email forwarding)?

I'm talking bout $10/year... no frills (except the email thing.) I've had space with discount-hosting.com, but they still don't provide mailservers.

for anyone setting up a minisite. I just realized they have PHP now which is a major plus.

I use it--$5 a month for the basic plan and you don't have to pay for a year up front. I think I paid for 3 months to get started and I've had no problems.

I had a host for $10 a year, they shut down over night and are gone without a trace, files gone, emails bouncing, do yourself a favour and get a decent host. You get what you pay for.

the problem with a cheap low-bandwidth host is if you get 1 popular aspect of your site linked on a few newsgroups or design sites, its gonna go down in 20minutes
if the site is for someone else, tell them its worth the investment, piggyback their site off your host and charge them $10 a year

i know they are expensive, but the support is amazing..

7.95/m when your prepay for 2 years, if its what you need its a great service, but if you're trying to go cheap cheap, its not your route, there are other good hosts can accomodate, but to stress the point, 10/year is unlikely, and if you find it, it might not be reliable
