software for the dad

my father in israel needs some kind of easy program to clean out temporay/unnecessary folders folders and files.. and you know.. easily uninstall programs, and all that lovely stuff our parents who just explored the computer love to do....
anyone know of a really good pc program of the sorts?

Your dad may want to acquant himself with Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
It lists how often you use the programs, how much space they take up, etc.
There is also "Disk Cleanup" under the system tools which removes temporary internet files, temp files, anything that was cached and lying around.
If he's got lots of shit programs on the computer, like dads tend to have, he might even want to do a complete wipe and start from scratch, especially if he's been running it in the same disorganised dad style for a while.
Dunno, good computer maintenance is a learned thing, not so sure they make programs for it.

ill teach him all that when i go to visit normal
but for now hes just insisting on software that takes care of that shit for me.. all-in-one....help me so i wont get a beating

It's the mothers that are supposed to be the brow-beaters not the fathers.
So my solution was an all-in-two solution. Sorry, but regardless of what "magic" software you find, it's still going to require a modicum of thought and action. There is no silver-bullet brain to box empathy cleaner just yet.
